This machine was designed specifically for heavy duty sewing of denim. Its frame is reinforced, has a high torque motor, and a precision feed system to provide a consistent sewing outcome at full production speed. The walking foot and balanced pressure system keeps the multiple layers of denim stable while being sewn, to prevent thread breakage, and skipped stitches. Operators also have access to a generous amount of presser foot lift, the ability to adjust presser foot pressure according to the weight and thickness of the material being sewn, and the ability to select a needle size so they can create different types of stitches (topstitch, bartack, etc.).
In addition, it has been engineered for easy maintenance. The accessible bobbin area, modular thread path, and easy to identify tension controls help reduce changeover time between different sewing jobs. Additionally, the sewing machine accepts a wide range of needle sizes and thread types which allows for a single machine to produce all of the various weight of denim, leather trims, and canvas.
